Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Karen — a human-centered designer studying Design with a focus on Human Behavior & Multistakeholder Research at Stanford.
I design for people navigating complex or emotionally meaningful spaces, from distributed global teams to early childhood learning environments. My work blends qualitative and quantitative research, rapid prototyping, and creative facilitation to uncover how people adapt, what they need, and how design can meet them where they are.
As a Gates Scholar, design operator, and researcher in Stanford’s Social Learning Lab and EALS initiative, I’ve worked across education, global online learning, and behavioral science.
My goal is always the same:
make systems clearer, kinder, and easier to navigate.
When I’m not designing, you can find me exploring fashion, baking, or at the movie theater!
